(Post)Valley Fire Landscapes

The summer of 2020 has been a crazy wildfire season and a strong indicator of climate change. Most of San Diego county in late August and September have had days filled with ash haze, making for poor air quality. A 16 Sept UCSD Photography Interest Group meeting inspired me to get out and photograph so I would have some new images to share with the group. Documenting the burnt landscape east of San Diego was something I wanted to do. Traveling east on the 94 towards Campo and Lawson Peak trailhead. I stopped along Lyons Valley Road yesterday late afternoon with my Nikon Z6 & Olympus OMD-E1M3.
